Algemene informatie over Gazonlobelia (Pratia):
Pratia is een geslacht van bodembedekkend plantjes, nauw verwant aan Isotoma. Pratia staat graag op een normale tot matig vochtige grond in de zon tot halfschaduw. Bij een standplaats in de zon moet de grond aan de vochtige kant zijn. Staan ze op een plek waar het 's winters flink vriest, gooi er dan voor de zekerheid wat blad of stro overheen. Pratia bloeit lang en is ook goed te gebruiken in plantenbakken. Goede buurplanten zijn bijv. Carex oshimensis, Primula veris en kleine soorten Alchemilla.
